Personal Statment

I studied as a Fine Art Painter in Seville and then moved to England to study my MA in Printmaking. When I first started printmaking I was not sure in which direction my work would take me but naturally found myself using a varitey of different techniques within my work and trying to push the boundaries within printmaking. I started on a project based on the scroll and recorded my daily events within this traditional format. From there I started to work with images of my face and use screen printing to transfer my own and my sister´s face onto a range of different materials. This is where my work started to enter the form of 3D and puppets and installations began to be created. I am particulary inspired by the work of Louise Bourgeois and Juan Munoz.

I have worked as a mural painter and artist facilitator within schools and social groups in both the UK and Spain and am available for freelance contract work.

I also work as a freelance graphic designer, commissions welcome

Please contact for further information.
